In three days, Janhvi Kapoor's upcoming movie, Mili, will be launched. Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa also play the lead parts in the movie, which is a remake of the popular Malayalam film Helen. Well, the film's creators are making every effort to promote it. The actress was seen at a multiplex in New Delhi today as well for the promotion. The shooting of Mili and its effects on Janhvi's mental health was discussed recently in an interview with PTI.
Janhvi Kapoor disclosed that she was experiencing dreams about being locked in a chilly, gloomy place. “The film took a toll on my mental health. I would come back home from the shoot and I would go to sleep and dream that I was still in the freezer. I fell ill and I was on severe painkillers for two three days and even the director was unwell,” the actress was quoted as saying by the PTI. The Good Luck Jerry actress elaborated, saying that crying for the majority of the day while spending 15 hours in a freezer is hardly glamorous. Janhvi shot Mili in a minus 15-degree freezer. The actress added that in order to fit the part, she had to gain 7.5 kg.
Mili Naudiyal, the name of the role she plays in the film, is a nurse. She has a nursing degree, but she also works part-time at a café. The teaser depicts Mili's relationship with Sunny Kaushal (her boyfriend) and her father. Janhvi, who works at a café in a shopping centre, becomes trapped in the freezer. She is seen using duct tape to cover her body in order to save herself from freezing. Meanwhile, her family and lover are looking for her. Boney Kapoor is the producer of the survival thriller movie.
Alongside Rajkummar Rao, the actress is working on Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, among other projects. The movie's filming has also begun. She will also appear with Varun Dhawan in Bawaal. The actors will share a screen for the first time during this production.
