RRR by SS Rajamouli continues to grow in popularity around the world. Naatu Naatu, which appeared in the movie, won MM Keeravani and Chandrabose an Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards last month. It has now found a new fan in actor Jamie Harris, who plays Sergeant Dombey in the Amazon Prime series Carnival Row. He described the movie as "fascinating" in a recent interview and suggested that Hollywood "should do more of this type of movie."
In Carnival Row, actor Jamie Harris plays a racist police officer. Travis Beacham's unproduced film spec story served as the inspiration for this American fantasy television series, which René Echevarria and Beacham created. The most recent season of the 10-episode television show ended last month. Orlando Bloom, David Gyasi, Cara Delevingne, and Andrew Gower also star in the film. It is presently available for viewing on Prime Video.
Jamie recently shared his favourite Indian movie, RRR, in an interview with India Today. He remarked, "The last Bollywood movie I watched was RRR. I loved that. What I find fascinating is that the film starts with one genre and then suddenly moves to a different genre. The dance sequence, the special effect - it was fantastic. I think that is something Hollywood should do more of. You don't need to stay in one genre for the entire one movie. You can maneuverer around, which made RRR more fascinating."
The pre-independence era of the 1920s is the setting for the fictional narrative RRR. It is based on the lives of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two well-known revolutionaries who were real-life heroes. Jr. NTR played Bheem while Ram Charan played Ram.
