Jai Bhim Team To Collaborate Again; Shoot To Start In March ?

Suriya's Jai Bhim is a political film which was released in the end of last year. Since the day of its release, the movie has been a discussion topic. Now, the latest reports suggest that the makers of the movie are ready to collaborate again. Gnanavel's next movie will feature Suriya reportedly. 2D entertainments will produce the film. They were the producers of Jai Bhim also. As per reports, the film will start by March 2023.

A case was filed against Jai Bhim for defaming a specific caste. But the High court ruling came in favor of the crew of the film. Jai Bhim is the story of a landmark legal battle led by Sengani (based on Parvathi) and lawyer Chandru, played by Suriya, when her husband Rajakannu, an Irular tribe member, is falsely accused by the police. Rajakannu died in 1993 as a result of police brutality during the investigation. In the workfront, Suriya also has a promising line-up of films with directors Vetrimaaran, TJ Gnanavel, Sudha Kongara, and R Ravikumar. The next movie in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe will also feature Suriya, as shown in the climax of Vikram.
