Jacqueline Fernandez Becomes Entangled In Rs. 200 Crore Extortion Case; Listed As An Accused In Sukesh Chandrashekhar Case

Jacqueline Fernandez was accused of aiding con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar in his illegal operations, which included money laundering and extortion, around a year ago. The actress is being looked into after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) discovered proof of money being lent to her. According to recent sources, the actress was identified as one of the accused in the chargesheet submitted by ED, signaling a significant step in the case.

According to recent sources, the Enforcement Directorate conducted a comprehensive investigation before filing a supplementary chargesheet in the Delhi court. After tracing the money flow, the ED allegedly added her name to the list of suspects. The ED had previously stated that Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given Jacqueline Fernandez and her family a lump sum amount. According to the ED's statement, Jacqueline received presents totaling Rs. 5.70 crore along with a horse worth Rs. 52 lac and a Persian cat worth Rs. 9 lac from the extortion funds. In addition, it stated that Sukesh Chandrashekhar had given Jacqueline's family presents and money. Additionally, it was stated in the earlier statement that Sukesh's criminal partner Pinky Irani, who was also a friend of Jacqueline, sent these items rather than him. The actress, however, had earlier maintained in her answers to the ED that she was not aware of Sukesh's or Pinky Irani's illegal actions, despite the fact that she had verified her acquaintance with Pinky. For those who are unaware, Sukesh Chandrashekar was detained after defrauding Aditi Singh, the wife of former Ranbaxy owner Shivinder Singh, of 200 crores of rupees. On the other side, Jacqueline Fernandez is a well-known Bollywood actress who most recently had a cameo appearance in the multilingual Vikrant Rona movie, which also starred Kichcha Sudeepa.
