Dulquer Salmaan is one of the favourite actors of Pan-Indian audince. Dulquer, who gained attention as the son of superstar Mammootty, had a very fast rise in the cinema. Today, Dulquer, who has emerged as a pan-Indian star, has many fans across the country. Although the actor started his film career in Malayalam, he shone in Tollywood and Bollywood. Now Dulquer's words about his father, Mammootty, and his family are getting attention.

 
Dulquer says he grew up with his mother and sister as Vapachi(father) was a busy actor. Dulquer says that his is a woman-centric family and he is proud to be Mammootty's son. Dulquer's response was in an interview given to the media called Masala. The actor has shared the full version of the interview on his social media pages.
 
“I've grown up around strong women. Not to take anything away from my father, but he was a very busy man, a busy actor. So I grew up with my mum and my sister. They are the glue that binds all of us. I took a day off to sit with Masala! Over a casual chat, talking about the lighter things in life,” Dulquer says.
 
Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan's Bollywood film Chup received great response from audience and critics alike. The film hit the theatres on September 23 and won the praise of the audience. This was also the third Bollywood film of Dulquer's career. Shreya Dhanvanthari and Pooja Bhatt are the heroines. The recently released film Sita Ramam was also very popular. The film, starring Rashmika Mandana and Mrinal Thakur as the heroines, has performed well at the box office since the day of its release.
