Uri: The Surgical Strike is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language military action film. The movie went on to become a big hit upon the release. The movie marked the debut of Aditya Dhar. It features Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam in lead roles. The film is a dramatized account of the retaliation to the 2016 Uri attack. The director's film got screened at the International Film Festival of India and he is happy about the same.
 
Aditya Dhar, the writer, and director of Uri-Surgical Strike revealed, "I am so happy to be at the International Film Festival of India. It is truly an honor to present my film here. The kind of love appreciation that arrived till now is truly incredible. The fact that we are celebrating the 50th International Film Festival and my first debut film getting screened over here is a huge honor. I really thank the ministry of ministry broadcasting and also thank the jury members and others for actually considering my film Uri for the screening here."
 
The film released in multiple regional languages too after it grabbed a National Award. The movie released in Telugu and Tamil languages as well.
