Is Varun Dhawan Interested In Working In South Indian films? Here's What He Has To Say About It

Varun Dhawan has been a part of Bollywood for some time now. Dhawan's start in the movie business with Student Of The Year occurred more than ten years ago. He has now appeared in more than 17 movies over the years, some of which broke numerous box office records. Varun has stated that he wanted to expand his career and work in South Cinema as well. One may confidently assert that South and Bollywood cinema is on a level with one another given the box office success of recent South films like RRR, KGF-Chapter 2, Pushpa-The Rise, and Ponniyin Selvan I.

In light of these events, Varun Dhawan has shown an interest in appearing in South Indian films. He remarked, “If Lokesh Kanagraj offered me a role, that's the director of Vikram and Kaithi, then 100 percent I would love to do a Tamil film with him. If Rajamouli or Shankar offers you why will you not.” Additionally, Varun Dhawan showered admiration on Kantara, which is now enjoying great success at the box office.

“I think Indian films are doing really well. When Team India plays, right now they are playing for the World Cup, everyone's an Indian playing over there, whether he is from South or North of India”, he said. “If Kantara is doing really well or KGF 2 or Vikram, we should seek inspiration from these films and try and work with each other. it's best thing to Indian films to grow right now,” Varun told India Today.

The following role for Dhawan will be in Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan's comedy-horror film Bhediya, which also stars Kriti Sanon. The action movie Bawaal directed by Nitesh Tiwari will thereafter have him opposite Janhvi Kapoor. Dhawan should appear on screen shortly, we hope.
