Karthi is currently one of Kollywood's most popular heroes. The actor has dabbled in a variety of genres, including romance, comedy, thrillers, action, and horror. Now that the movie's next star, Karthi, has been officially confirmed, director Raju Murugan has also reportedly said that the actor will be putting in a lot of training for the picture and don a new look and a new character.
The movie is reportedly going to be called "Japan." The rumour now is that Tollywood star Sunil will be portraying the role, contrary to prior speculation that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a parallel main role. The film's creators haven't made an official statement, though.
According to reports, the film is scheduled to premiere next month. In terms of his professional life, Karthi most recently appeared with Aditi Shankar in the Muthiah-directed movie "Viruman." He is currently anticipating the September 30 premiere of his movie, "Ponniyin Selvan." "Ponniyin Selvan," a historical epic drama about the Chola Dynasty, was directed by Mani Ratnam. Along with "Sardar," which stars Raashi Khanna, Karthi has another movie coming out for Diwali in 2022.
