Is Bala's Varmaa movie getting a release? Singapore censor certificate goes viral on social media

We are already aware that director Bala made the first version of Arjun Reddy's Tamil remake with the title Varmaa. But as the producers were unhappy with the final cut, they decided to reshoot the entire film with a different cast and crew. Thus, we got a faithful remake in the form of Adithya Varma under the direction of Girisayya. But that film ended up as a failure. Now, it looks like the makers are planning to release the version directed by Bala. The latest censor report of the film given by the Singapore Censors is now doing rounds on the internet and making this rumors much stronger.

From the last couple of days, the censor certificate of Varmaa given by the Singapore censor board is going viral on social media. The Singapore censors gave it an NC16 rating, which means that the film is not suitable for people below 16 years of age. The runtime got locked at 1 hour 54 minutes.

Earlier, there were reports saying that Bala's version will stream on Netflix soon but it seems that now the makers are planning for a theatrical release itself. We have to wait for a few more days to get an official update on it. Varmaa features Dhruv Vikram and Megha in the lead roles.
