Indian 2 Actor Kamal Haasan pays tribute to Crazy Mohan

Actor, comedian, screenwriter and playwright Crazy Mohan made so many tamil films memorable because of impeccable comedy timing and intelligent wordplay. The multi-faceted person worked in the Tamil film industry for nearly three decades and breathed his last after suffering a cardiac arrest on June 10, 2019, at a private hospital in Chennai. His untimely demise has left a void in the Tamil film industry that can never be filled. Crazy Mohan had worked with his friend Kamal Haasan in several films and almost all of them became super hit ventures.

Kamal Haasan took to social media to share a throwback photo with Crazy Mohan from one of the old films. His tribute for Crazy Mohan in Tamil is loosely translated as, "In times when they say that “the world is a play (theatre)” he changed it to say that the “world is a comedy play”. He is someone who delivered serious philosophy under the veil of humour. He live." Crazy Mohan was honoured with Tamil Nadu government's Kalaimamani award in 2004 for his contribution in the field of arts and literature. He worked for over 35 years.
