If I Was Not An Actor, I Would Have Become Suresh Gopi's Goon Says Gokul Suresh

Suresh Gopi's son, Gokul Suresh, says that he would have become a goon if not an actor. Gokul said in an interview with Mathrubhumi that he sees his father in a larger-than-life image and that is what he likes. Along with Gokul, Suresh Gopi and the screenwriter of the Pappan movie, R.J. Shaan, also came for the interview.

"I am not a person who keeps a distance from my father. I'd like to be my father's assistant. I used to tell his mother that if I had not become an actor, I would have become a gangster. As an actor, I see my father in a "larger than life" image. That's what I enjoy. There wasn't that much during college. I became like that when I started acting, "said Gokul.

Suresh Gopi said that Gokul still keeps all the small toys that he bought him when he was young. "He still has the little cars, dolls and guns I bought him as a child on the shelf. Daily he will take it and wipe it clean and stack it," said Suresh Gopi.

Meanwhile, Paappan, the first time both of them have teamed up, is continuing to run in theatres with great reviews. The film hit the theatres on Friday and collected 3.16 crores on the first day. The film earned 3.87 crores on its second day on Saturday with good word of mouth publicity.
