I Laugh The Most When I Hear Critics Say That The Movie Is Too Slow, Director Anjali Menon Opens Up.

Director Anjali Menon says that critics need to know and learn more about the medium of cinema. Anjali said that a reviewer needs to know the technical aspects of a film, and she likes good reviews. Anjali Menon's comments were made in an interview given to a film company ahead of the release of her new film, Wonder Women.

“Often, the critics are not knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the film. I think that's important to know. How is a movie made? I laugh the most when I hear people say that the movie has lag. What is it? What is the editing process? At least one should know that before forming such an opinion. A director must have decided what the pace of a film should be. They will talk about comparing two unrelated movies. It doesn't have to be that way. I love good reviews. It is very important. Film criticism was a subject for all of us to study. But it is important to understand the medium of film. It would be good for everyone if the people doing the reviews understood a little more about the movie and talked about it,” said Anjali Menon.

Anjali added her view on the social media reviews. “Social media chat groups often host very valuable discussions. I really like reading it. As filmmakers, we tend to hide certain things. It is a great pleasure to know that they understand that. People write long reviews now;” Anjali Menn added.

Meanwhile, Anjali menon’s new film Wonder Women is all set to release. The film stars Nadiya Moidu, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Padmapriya Janakiraman, Sayanora Philip, Archana Padmini and Amruta Subhash in the lead roles.
