Malayalam cinema audiences are waiting for the second part of 'Lucifer' titled 'Empuran'. Empuran will become Prithviraj’s third directorial venture. Recently, Murali Gopi shared the details of the completion of the script of the film. Now director Prithviraj has also shared an update on 'Empuran'.
He has no claims to make, Prithviraj said that 'Empuran' is an entertainer. Prithviraj was quoted as saying in a conversation on Twitter space.
“We have completed the script for 'Empuran'. Now Murali and I have to sit down together and decide how to make a film. Then I will design how I am going to shoot. I have no claims about the movie. 'Empuran' is an entertainer;” said Prithviraj.
Prithviraj had wished Mohanlal a happy 62nd birthday and said he would be back next year. The shooting of 'Empuran' is expected to take place next year as well. Earlier, Prithviraj had said in an interview that he has been thinking about the film since its opening shot.
'Lucifer', produced by Ashirvad Cinemas and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is the first Malayalam film to gross Rs 200 crore. Mohanlal appeared in Lucifer as Stephen Nedumpalli. The film also stars Vivek Oberoi, Manju Warrier, and Tovino Thomas.
'Lucifer' ends by saying that Stephen is an influential don named Qureshi Abraham. Thus, the proclamation of Empuran, the sequel to Lucifer, has been widely discussed. 'Empuran' is a movie starring Prithviraj and Mohanlal in the lead roles.
