Fans are eagerly waiting for the movie 'Shaakuntalam, starring Samantha. The movie is based on Kalidasa's famous novel Abhijanana Shakunthalam.' While Samantha plays 'Shakunthala', the young Malayalam actor Dev Mohan plays the role of 'Dushyanta'. It has been announced that the new film, directed by Gunasekhar, will release on April 14. Samantha also reached Kerala on the last day of the campaign.

"I have been rejected from many auditions. But all that was forgotten." Samantha replied that she was rejected early in her career.
