Heroine Amala Paul, who used to do glamorous roles predominately in the past, has changed the gears and now is signing only the content-oriented films. Her last film Aadai won her huge acclaim for her performance. Now, Amala is coming up with another female-oriented film called Adho Andha Paravai Pole.
Speaking about this film, Amala said that it is the story of a young girl who gets caught inside a forest. The story takes place in the span of 48 hours and that lady had to face the threats of wild animals and also the beastly men in that jungle.
The actress learnt self-defence martial art, Krav Maga, for this film. Amala says that she is an adventure junkie and shooting for this film made her learn another important self-defense technique. She also stated that they shot the film in dense forests and she didn't use vanity van as well. Amala used to sleep along with the crew in a nearby village. She said that it is important for all women to learn self-defense techniques, especially in today's world. The Nayak actress hoped that Adho Andha Paravai Pole will be another milestone in her career.
Meanwhile, Amala is also acting in Netflix's Telugu anthology film and is making her Bollywood debut with a web-series that is being bankrolled by Mahesh Bhatt.
