After Vikram, another movie by Fahadh Faasil is all set to hit the theatres, Malayam Kunju. In one of the promotional interviews for Malayan Kunju, he said that he is sure about the fact that he will be working in more films with Kamal Haasan. I'm looking forward to a lot of films with Kamal Sir,' Fahadh said.
The audience is waiting for Fahadh Faasil's Malayalam film to hit the theatres after a long gap. The trailer for Malayankunju, which is being prepared as a survival thriller, received much notice. The film is being directed by debutant Sajimon and is produced by Fazil.
Vikram marked the box office comeback of Kamal Hassan after a long time. Vikram is the second movie in the cinematic universe created by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Kaithi was the first movie from Lokesh’s cinematic universe. Actor Surya did a fantastic last-minute cameo role in the film. Malayankunju is being prepared as a survival thriller in Malayalam. The director of Taking Off, CU Soon, and Malik, is preparing the screenplay for Malayankunju.
This film will also mark AR Rahman's comeback to Malayalam. The previous Malayalam film, Yoddha, released in 1992, was composed by Rahman. The film will be released theatrically on July 22.
