This time Janelle Monae is replacing Julia Roberts in the lead role. The teaser of the series dropped on the internet a few days back. It seems to be intriguing and might be the right successor for season one. We can also see Monae kissing another woman in the trailer.
According to the official reports, the story starts off with Monae waking up on a boat and she has no idea how she got there. He then started searching for her identity. She starts off the journey to find her whereabouts. The people she meets and the instances she comes across forms the major crux of the story.
Homecoming is an adaptation of podcast of the same name. Sam Esmail bankrolled this series under the banner Anonymous Content Production. Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg, who were the show-runners of season one, also worked for season two. Kyle Patrick Alvarez directed all episodes of the series. Homecoming Season 2 will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from the 22nd of May.
