Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is ever the philanthrophic as she makes another huge donation to feed underprivileged children who have no access to school lunches from schools closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Angelina Jolie made a huge donation of $1 million to the No Kid Hungry charity which has managed to contribute $2 million across 30 states in an attempt to feed low-income children along with their families. In a statement, Angelina said, 'As of this week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide because of closures linked to coronavirus"
'Many children depend on the care and nutrition they receive during school hours, including nearly 22 million children in America who rely on food support.' She added, 'Kid Hungry is making resolute efforts to reach as many of those children as possible.'
Angelina, who is famous for her philanthropy work has worked alongside the United Nations. She has also promoted UNESCO's new Global Education Coalition, which has an agenda to facilitate education in remote areas as schools closing around the world. In 2006, the actress and ex-husband Brad Pitt began a charity named after their eldest adopted son Maddox, 18.
Jennifer and Amy Adams initiated the Save With Stories to promote donations to Save The Children and No Kid Hungry. Other celebrities including Camila Cabello, Lupita Nyong'o, Brie Larson, Noah Centineo and Beanie Feldstein have also joined this initiative.
