One of India’s most celebrated festival season is nearing soon and this time, not many are sure about the entertainment we all are going to have but. For many of us, entertainment during the festive season is nothing but watching movies with families in the theatres. This year, going to theatres has been a tradition we all cannot follow because of the COVID-19 situation. Well, this has become an advantage for many of the OTT players as they are looking forward to increasing the number of their subscribers. There are a good number of films which are lining up for release during Diwali.
One of such films is going to be Coolie No.1 by David Dhawan on Amazon Prime Video. But as per the latest update, the makers are moving the release of the film to a different date in December.
Looks like this is happening to avoid the clash with Akshay Kumar’s Laxxmi Bomb which is due to release on Diwali on Disney + HotStar. Similarly, Prime Video has a different plan to keep its audience entertained on Diwali with another release which is titled Chhalaang, directed by Hansal Mehta. This film has Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha in lead roles and might release on the OTT during Diwali.
