China seems to be recovering from the coronavirus damage. Though it has not gone entirely, the country has witnessed a decline in daily cases. Thus, the Chinese government is planning to reopen the theatres by the end of this month. An official announcement from the government is yet to be out though. Meanwhile, we hear that the remastered 4k and 3D versions of Harry Potter: The Sorcerer's Stone will be out in China once all the theatres get opened.
Recently, Harry Potter's production house, Warner Bros has announced that the remastered version will get released soon in China. However, they didn't announce the release date. The release date might get announced only after a clarity comes on the re-opening of the theatres. This film is the first part of the Harry Potter franchise. It was a major success worldwide and collected over $978 million in its final run. Even now, Harry Potter enjoys a massive fandom across the world.
