Golden Globes is eagerly watched by fashion fans and cinephiles with equal excitement. Celebrities go out of their ways to make the red carpet entertaining with their breathtaking evening gowns and ensemble, the 77th Golden Globes wasn’t any less mesmerizing.
Billy Porter stole the red carpet as usual by bending gender roles once again with his Alex Vinash designed tuxedo along with angel wings train however Porter got tough competition from celebrities like Priyanka Chopra who brought glamour, along with Nick Jonas in a pink-purple Ottaviano gown.
Scarlett Johansson, Olivia Coleman mand Helen Mirren matched the carpet with their classic yet elegant red gowns. Joey King mesmerized the audience with her visually stunning Iris Van Herpen gown. Although the fashion police were happy with most of the celeb’s choices there were some snubs that disappointed them, J. Lo managed to disappoint us with her custom made Valentino dress.
The fashion police were also not happy with Taylor Swift’s massive floral dress designed by Etro. Since it’s only the beginning of the award seasons in 2020, there are many more red carpet entries that are yet to be applauded and shunned, let us see who makes the best of it.
