On August 1, director Gautham Menon turned to social media to publish a photo of himself with actor Vikram, commenting, "The stars will align." This message has elicited joy among fans, giving them hope for the resurrection of the director's long-delayed film 'Dhruva Natchathiram.'
The project is expected to be restarted shortly since the director has also hinted that the last leg of filming would commence soon. 'Dhruva Natchathiram,' starring Vikram, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Ritu Varma, began filming in 2016 and was scheduled to conclude in 2018. However, the picture was shelved owing to financial concerns, and the filmmaker has been attempting to resurrect it.
The director's caption suggesting that "stars will align soon" has implied that the film would be released in theatres, as the term stars in Tamil means 'Natchathiram.'
The plot of the film is a spy thriller. Aside from Vikram, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Ritu Varma in key roles, the film also stars Parthiban, Simran, Dhivyadharshini, and Vinayakan. Harris Jayaraj wrote the film's soundtrack, and the first song from the movie, 'Oru Manam,' was a smash hit.
