Vishnu Vishal in a recent interview, opened up about the movie. “It’s a sports family drama, and kusthi is an integral part of the script. So, we had over 800 people on the set for five days while shooting or interval and climax. For an important sequence, we have 2000 people on spot for another five-six days. This film had the highest number of crew in all my films. Even when it came to technicians, I’ve mostly worked with debutants or relatively newcomers. But in this, I have big names like cinematographer Richard M Nathan, composer Justin Prabhakran, editor Prasanna and art director Umesh as part of the crew. Anbariv masters, who worked on movies like KGF, choreographed the stunts for us. For them to execute something on that scale, we should give them the best technical support. I’m overwhelmed I was able to do this for my film. At any given point, there were at least six-seven caravans on the spot. Namma padama idhunu ore malaippa irukkum,” he says. Recently, Vishnu Vishal released a few images from the "Gatta Kusthi" filming. Gatta Kusthi is set in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. "Gatta Kusthi" will be released in 2022 itself.
For "Gatta Kusthi," Justin Prabhakaran is in charge of the soundtrack. Richard M. Nathan is in charge of the camera. The movie features Vishnu Vishal, Ravi Teja, Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles. The makers have not disclosed further details about the cast. The last time Vishnu Vishal appeared on a major motion picture screen was in "F.I.R." It was a Manu Anand-directed terrorism drama. The movie debuted to enormous box office success and became the biggest hit of the year.
