The #MeToo movement started nearly a year ago which creating a sensation in the industry. So many women from the film industry came out and shared their bad experiences recently. Now, another Bollywood actress Maanvi Gagroo came forward to voice out one such experience. The actress who started her career with 'Dhoom Machao Dhoom' TV show appeared in web series like 'Tripling' and 'Four More Shots Please'. The actress stated that a producer misbehaves with her.
"I went for an audition. They asked me to act in a rape scene. I got scared and ran away from there. I got a call from the same person an years ago saying that they are doing a web series and asked me to act in the project. They asked me about my budget. But, I said that I want to listen to the story first and then we can discuss further. But they didn't listen to me an quoted. I said that the amount is very less. They instantly tripled the amount and said that they are ready to give even more but asked me to compromise," said Maanvi.
"I was utterly shocked with the word. I heard the word compromise nearly after 7 to 8 years. I got very angry and even said that I'll complain the police about him," added Maanvi. She said that she was even more shocked to experience such thing even when the #MeToo movement is going on.
