Jeetendra, the veteran actor famous for his dance numbers turned 78 on Tuesday. Friends and family of the actor filled social media with birthday wishes. His fans also joined in to express their love. Among many others, film producer Anand Pandit also shared a loving message for his friend. He called Jeetendra an unbelievable support system and one of his closest friends.
Talking about his career in the Bollywood industry and his friendship with Jeetendra, Pandit said, "Twenty-five years ago, I landed in Mumbai with an empty wallet and a heart full of dreams. I was a nobody. That is when Jeetuji came into my life. His life lessons, his everyday advice and his large heart is what helped me to survive and eventually thrive. It is hard to put into words how Jeetuji helped me navigate through life's biggest challenges. He has been an unbelievable support system."
Pandit also confessed that he has often called Jeetendra in the middle of the night. He added saying, "He is one of those people who won't question you even if you call him in the middle of the night - yes, he is my 3am friend. He will welcome you with a smile and hug no matter what time of the day. What I owe him is intangible."
Jeetendra himself retired from the Bollywood industry a while ago now. On the other hand Anand Pandit is currently producing the Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre. He is also producing the Abhishek Bachchan starrer The Big Bull.
