Film critic, Blue Sattai Maaran's film 'Anti Indian' movie banned

In the Tamil film critic circle and YouTube, Blue Sattai Maaran is a famous Youtuber. Ilamaaran, popular known as Blue Sattai Maaran became famous for his nonchalant reviews which are sometimes brutal. He always wears a blue-coloured shirt for his reviews and manages to find out the films which are copied from foreign films. Many criticised him saying he couldn't direct a film and hence he is not capable of reviewing a film. Last year, Maaran announced that he will turn director with a film titled Anti Indian. He also announced that the film's shooting was completed and was sent to Censor Board for certification.

In a shocking turn of events, the Censor Board for certification has banned the film Anti Indian. The CBFC makes it a point to ask the film team to remove scenes or make changes to the film if they find it objectionable. Rarely does the CBFC ban a film. It is said that the crux of Anti Indian must have been provoking, which is why it has been banned. Reportedly, Anti Indian was centred on issues such as religion and politics. Producer Adam Bawa of Anti Indian said, "The censor board has announced their decision. We will appeal the reconsideration. We hope that the ban will be lifted soon and 'Anti Indian' will be released."
