Farah Khan took to her social media handle on Instagram to share a picture of her, Sajid and the whole gang to wish her brother on his birthday. In the picture, one can see the posing faces of Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Sonu Sood, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, and many others along with Sajid. Sharing this picture, Farah Khan captioned it, “Friends are those rare people who ask how you are .. and then Wait to hear the answer .. happy birthday Sajid.. from friends n family that love u.”
Sajid started his directorial career with the movie Darna Zaroori Hai in 2006. He then directed several films including Housefull, Housefull 2, Himmatwala and Humshakals.
In October 2018, Sajid got accused of sexual harassment by many female colleagues such as Mandana Karimi, Saloni Chopra, Rachel White, Simran Suri, and journalist Karishma Upadhyay through the ‘#MeToo’ movement in India. He was heavily criticized by celebs such as Akshay Kumar and Bipasha Basu after which he stepped down from the director post of Housefull 4.
Sajid was eventually replaced by Farhad Samji, who co-directed Housefull 3 and Housefull 4.
