Fan Abuse: 'Rama Rao On Duty' Director Sarath Mandava Locks Twitter Due To Abuse From Ravi Teja Fans

Heartbroken Ravi Teja fans have been berating filmmaker Sarath Mandava on social media from the film's first day of showing, hurling abuses at him.

The tension is so intense that the young filmmaker, who had previously displayed unflinching confidence in all promotional interviews before the film's debut, has abruptly closed (gone into private mode) his Twitter account to insulate himself from the constant abuse.

After the disastrous failure of 'Khiladi,' Ravi Teja fans had great hopes for his newly released mass action comedy, 'Ramarao on Duty.' The anticipation and expectations rose after the film's director, Sarath Mandava, made a few stunning statements regarding the media and critics during the marketing. However, the film's outcome proved different, leaving the filmmaker susceptible to the wrath of Ravi Teja's supporters.

Some Ravi Teja followers went so far as to write an open letter to him, expressing their dismay. "You just keep signing movies without even learning from prior flops' faults. Being your fan is causing us more pain than ever before", a Ravi Teja fan writes in his letter.

'Ramarao On Duty' showed a lot of potential but ended up being one of Ravi Teja's worst flops. While the first-time filmmaker chose an attractive setting, he entirely disappointed the audience with a boring premise and formulaic storytelling.
