Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Chehre’ goes through a release date change

Film ‘Chehre’ featuring Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan, goes through a change in the release date in order to avoid clash with Gulabo Sitabo, as requested by the makers of the later film. The film will now release on 17th July 2020.

2020 seems to be a productive year for Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Despite not maintaining good health, the actor has three releases lined up this year. He will be featuring with Emraan Hashmi in ‘Chehre’, the film is Rumi Jaffery directorial. The film also has Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Krystle Dsouza, Drithiman Chakroborthy, Raghubir Yadav and Annu Kapoor cast in pivotal roles. Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited have collaborated to produce the film.
 
This multi starrer film was initially set to hit theaters in April 2020. However, the filmmakers have recently announced a change of release date, to 17th July 2020. They broght this change in order to avoid a clash with ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ release, yet another Amitabh featuring film along with Ayushmann Khurrana. The makers of both the films have come to a peaceful agreement and took this decision.
 
In Chehre, Emraan Hashmi plays the character of a business tycoon and Amitabh Bachchan will revisit his famous lawyer cape in the film. While in Gulabo Sitabo, he got portrayed in a comedy-drama to display the mundane hardships of the common people. He will also be featuring in Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming grand film ‘Brahmastra’, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
