Emilia Clarke is just as annoyed as Game of Thrones fans about the series finale.

Game of Thrones is the biggest show to have ever existed. The show also rallied a huge fan following behind it. However, at its very end Game of Thrones Season 8 left many fans disappointed and others wanting more. Now it seems like the fans aren't the only ones who were disappointed with the show's end.

In a recent interview, Emilia Clarke who played Daenerys Targaryen aka The Dragon Queen said that she was annoyed with how the show ended. Many fans got angry when they saw her favorite queen turn a blind eye to the innocent population of King's Landing and burnt everything to crisp. On top of the sudden character change, Daenerys died at the hands of Jon Snow in a shocking conclusion to her character.

While speaking to Sunday Times Clarke said, "I knew how I felt [about the ending] when I first read it, and I tried, at every turn, not to consider too much what other people might say. But I did always consider what the fans might think — because we did it for them, and they were the ones who made us successful, so it's just polite, isn't it?

"It was all about the set pieces. I think the sensational nature of the show was, possibly, given a huge amount of airtime because that's what makes sense," she added.

Funnily the actress also said that she is annoyed at how Jon Snow basically gets away with murder. "Yeah, I felt for her. I really felt for her. And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn't have to deal with something? He got away with murder — literally, " she concluded.
