With the ongoing lockdown, many occupations have taken a hit. The paparazzi are one of those affected by this lockdown. Ekta Kapoor has come out to help them. Viral Bhayani took to Instagram to make the announcement of the director transferring salaries to the paparazzi'
He posted a picture of Ekta with "Thank you Ekta" written across. He wrote, “While we are under crisis and jobs at stake, it's good to see individuals like #ektakapoor coming and helping us in our difficult times. With no work and the crisis not slowing down, Ekta has directly sent payment to our boy's bank account. This was well appreciated as it has become difficult to pay salaries now."
Ekta replied with the following comment. She wrote, "We all will get out of this! When d going gets tough the tough get going! Will soon see u n ur boys on job! JAI MATA DI! Take care viral"
Ekta had also announced that she will be foregoing her salary for this year. She said she will be forging her Rs 2.5 crore salary so that her co-workers don’t have to take a hit during this period of crisis."
She recently posted an interview she was apart from 2013 at Harvard. She talks about her shows and the issues she likes to portray in them. She captioned the post, "In 2013 I went for the #OPM COURSE AT @harvard! The students at Harvard got to know I was there n asked me for an interview ! Ths is a small clip! I learnt a lot ! So many case studies! An amazing faculty n students that r owners of much larger businesses that I was surprised I got chosen! ( I have to apply n they see if ur portfolio meets d criteria)! Living in d University n Boston was fun only one disappointment! Even though there were presidents n owners of Organizations of all over d world d ratio of women was surprisingly low maybe less than ten percent! Reason many women cud not take such a long break from home like their male counterparts cud."
