Director Shijinlal Talks About His Upcoming Film Grandma

Horror thriller films have become passe. However, if a director backs it up with a solid screenplay, then audiences are willing to enjoy it. Recently, director Shijinlal managed to bring together actresses Sonia Agarwal and Vimala Raman for a horror thriller film titled Grandma. The film's trailer was recently launched and received a lot of applause. A major portion of the film was shot in Kerala. Director Shijinlal said, "The entire process of making Grandma was a huge challenge. We had to shoot the major portions during COVID -19 and without the support of my crew, this would have not been possible. During the shoot, Sonia and Vimala Raman had to bear with me consistently. I owe them a lot for their patience and unconditional support. Grandma will be a new-fangled horror thriller. The first half will have myriad horror elements and the whole second half is about survival drama. I am sure that audiences will have a different and unique experience with Grandma."
