Trivikrama is the actor Vikram Ravichandran's debut film. The film was to hit the theatres on 30th May, on the occasion of the actor's father Ravichandran's birthday. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, the release now stands postponed. Director Narasimha spoke about the film and how they plan of shooting a few songs in Australia.
The cast and crew had completed filming in Bengaluru, Dandeli, Rajasthan and Bangkok. According to the director, two of the film's songs are remaining. He hopes to be able to film the songs in Australia.
He said, "April 14 is when we had scheduled to be in Australia for the last leg of the shooting, which couldn’t take place. We are now in a position that we can’t even change the location from Australia, as the production house has already paid an advance amount to the concerned authorities. So cannot think of an alternative."
"Post the coronavirus outbreak, even after getting permission to shoot there, there will be a lot of procedures that we have to go through. Unlike earlier, everything is expected to get tough now. The production house, actors as well as the rest of the team are waiting for the lockdown to be lifted to that we can discuss the next course of action," he adds.
Trivikrama also marks the debut of Akanksha Sharma into the Kannada Film Industry. Sommanna and Suresh are producing the film under the banner Gowri Entertainers. Apart from Vikram Ravichandran and Akanksha Sharma, the film also stars actors Akshara Gowda, Chikkanna Sadhu Kokila, Suchendra Prasad, Shivamani, Adi Lokesh and Jayaprakash. Arjun Janya is composing the film's score. Santhosh Rai Pathaje and Guru Prashant Rai are the film's cinematographers.
