Cinematographer-turned-director S Krishna is writing scripts during the lockdown. He is working on completing two scripts. He will produce both the film under his home banner RRR Motion Pictures. He recently spoke of how is he is keen on Anant Nag playing the lead role for one of the scripts he is working on.
“The story demands his screen presence. However, we are yet to discuss the story with Anant Nag and finalize it,” says Krishna. He says that he is waiting for the lockdown period to end to start working on picturizing his scripts.
He also spoke of the other script he is working on. He said, “The other story to has shaped well, and I will soon be pitching it to the actors who I think will fit the bill, and finalise on the artiste who can commit to the project."
Krishna's last venture Pailwaan stared actor Sudeep. The film was Krishna's first production venture. RRR Motion Pictures produced the film. He is now looking forward to expanding the production house.
“We have already okayed three scripts, and the directors are working on the stories which are in the final stages,” says Krishna. “We are opening avenues for all kinds of directors who have unusual content with entertainment value," he added.
Meanwhile, Anant Nag last appeared in the Telugu film Beeshma. Bheeshma marked his first Telugu film since the 1977 film Premalekhalu. He plays the role of an organic farmer. He will next appear in the Kannada film Mysore Masala: The UFO Incident. The film is a science fiction flick directed by Ajay Sarpeshkar. Apart from Anant Nag the film will star actors Prakash Belawadi, Sharmiela Mandre, Samyukta Hornad, Kiran Srinivas in prominent roles. Sudha Belawadi, Dimpy Fadhya, Neenasam Ashwath, Mandeep Rai, Spoorthi Gumaste, Naresh Narasimhan, Kiran Naik, and Samanvita Shetty in supporting roles. The release date for the film is yet to arrive.
