Director Karthik Subbaraj spills the beans about Jagame Thandhiram

Director Karthik Subbraj is extremely excited about the release of his upcoming film Jagame Thandhiram. The commercial entertainer features Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Game of Thrones actor James of Cosmo in the lead roles. The film, produced by Y Not Sashikanth, was supposed to release in May 2020. Due to the theatres being shut in the country to combat the novel coronavirus, Jagame Thandhiram had to be postponed. Earlier, the makers were firm on releasing the film in theatres. However, as days passed, producer Sashikanth was in great trouble and decided to release the film directly on Netflix.

Director Karthik Subbaraj announced the film's Netflix release and issued a press statement. He said, "Jagame Thandhiram is my dream film. A script that's very close to my heart. A story that needs to be told, and heard by audiences across the world. This film has found a new way to speak to its audience. Jagame Thandhiram will be premiered by Netflix worldwide in over 190 countries and in multiple languages simultaneously. I am eagerly looking forward to sharing this film about a 'Tricky World'(Jagame Thandhiram).”
