Director Gautham Vasudev Menon faced a lot of difficulties for the past four years as his films were stuck in a deep financial mess. He then found a partner in producer Ishari Ganesh, who agreed to pull him out of financial issues and also helped in the release of his long-pending film Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
Now, the director is confident about his upcoming films. His film, Joshua Imai Pol Khaka is in post-production stage. The film features Ishari Ganesh's relative Varun in the lead role. In a recent interview, Gautham Menon called himself the victim of cinema's business and added that he doesn't hate cinema.
Now, the director is all set to explore his acting skills. Though Gautham has appeared in small roles in his films, he hasn't done a full-fledged role in films. The director got roped in to play a pivotal role in Vishnu Vishal's FIR.
Sharing the news, Vishnu Vishal wrote, "You've always been a person that I've looked up to in the cinema , and I'm soooo happy that you're a part of my own film now :) :) Thank you @menongautham sir for agreeing to be a part of our #FIR journey, really excited to see you on the sets:)#myfanboymoment #GVMJoinsFIR (sic)"
