Did you know Kavya Thapar auditioned for Varun Tej's Antariksham Movie?

Kavya Thapar made her debut opposite Rahul Vijay in director Ramu Koppula's Ee Maaya Peremito. A year later, she forayed into Kollywood with Market Raja MBBS, . She shard the screen space with Bigg Boss Season 1 winner Aarav. However, she was supposed to play a pivotal role in Varun Tej and Aditi Rao Hydari's space film Antariksham.. The space film, directed by Sankalp Reddy, had Lavanya Tripathi playing the second lead. However, before Lavanya was finalised, Kavya auditioned for the role. However, it didn't materialise.

A source told Cinema Express, "Kavya gave a look test for the role and Sankalp is convinced that she would fit the bill perfectly as the second lead opposite Varun. Even though the role has a limited screen time, it will create a lasting impact in the tale. Sankalp is taking time to finalise the actor for this role. He is also in negotiations with several others including a young female actor, who has been struggling with flops. He will be finalising one of them in a few days." Kavya has finalised a film with Tamil actor Vijay Antony.
