Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's much-delayed flick Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar has finally got a release date. The makers have officially announced that this film will now hit the screens on the 20th of March. The theatrical trailer of the film will be out soon. Dibakar Banerjee has directed the film. He has also produced the film under the banner Dibakar Banerjee Films and it will get distributed by Yash Raj Films. This is a very important movie for both the lead actors and they pinned big hopes on the success of the project.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar went on floors in November 2017. Even though the filming got finished long back, it remained under cans due to many issues. Earlier, we heard that Adithya Chopra was not satisfied with the project and made it get shelved. But now, looks like all the problems got sorted and the film is prepping up for the release. As there are only a few days left for the release, the makers are planning to intensify the promotions. Just a while ago, the lead actors Arjun and Parineeti have shared their first looks from the film. The posters look cool and the film seems to be a whacky entertainer. Arjun played the role of Pinky Dahiya and Parineeti essayed the role of Sandeep Kaur in the movie.
Dibakar's last feature film directorial was the 2015 film Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. Arjun was last seen in Panipat while Parineeti's last film was Jabariya Jodi.
