Dhanush's Vaathi: The Release Postponed To This Date!

With the release of four movies this year, Dhanush has had a busy year. The actor's most recent appearance was in Selvaraghavan's psycho-thriller "Naane Varuvaen." He is now preparing for his upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual feature, "Vaathi". The movie is directed by Venky Atluri. The movie was initially scheduled for release on December 2.

The movie's release date has been now officially changed to February 2023 by the film's producers. This announcement follows an earlier one that stated the movie would hit theatres on December 2. The music for "Vaathi" was composed by GV Prakash. He shared a new poster and the release date of the movie on Twitter.

Even a few weeks ago, the film's producers denied the earlier rumours about a delayed release. It has now been postponed to February, though. The film's creators have not yet disclosed the cause of the release delay. In the movie "Vaathi," Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon play the lead characters. Dhanush portrays a teacher named Balamurugan who speaks out against the flaws in the Indian educational system. The first song from the movie was sung by Swetha Mohan with lyrics written by Dhanush. It was released last week.
