Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam Surpasses Ajith’s Valimai’s Overseas Collection

Recently, the movie "Thiruchitrambalam" with Dhanush in the lead has been released in theatres and has been performing well at the box office. However, "Thiruchitrambalam" has received positive reviews from audiences in Australia, France, and the USA, and the movie is continuing to bring in consistent box office revenue. According to reports, "Thiruchitrambalam" earned $210K (1.7 crores) in Australia and received more than 13,000 submissions in France, making it the third-highest Tamil film of 2022 in both nations.

As a result, Dhanush's movie has beaten Ajith's "Valimai" in both categories to take third place, while Kamal Haasan's "Vikram" and Vijay's "Beast" are currently in first and second place, respectively. Thiruchitrambalam is rumoured to have made over Rs 65 crore at the Tamil Nadu box office, and it is anticipated that it will shortly surpass Rs 100 crore globally. The film's producers have referred to "Thiruchitrambalam" as a super blockbuster even though they haven't confirmed the film's box office results.

The film has captured the attention of fans and family audiences and is expected to perform well at the box office thanks to director Mithran Jawahar's engaging presentation of a charming story with a fantastic star cast. In addition to Nithya Menen, who excelled in her leading role opposite Dhanush, the movie also stars Bharathiraja, Prakash Raj, Raashi Khanna, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in significant parts. The soundtrack for the movie was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the composer's 7-year break from working with Dhanush has given the movie greater force.
