Dhanush's fans request Jagame Thandhiram to release in theatres

Dhanush's Jagame Thandhiram with director Karthik Subbaraj has been waiting for the theatres to reopen in full capacity. However, in a drastic change, it was widely reported that Jagame Thandhiram's streamng rights have been sold to Netflix. According to sources, producer Sashikanth of Y Not Studios received an offer that he couldn't refuse and was quite profitable to him. Since the team couldn't release the film for a long time, the interest rates would have increased manifold. Last week, Dhanush took to Twitter to reveal that he is hoping for Jagame Thandhiram to release in theatres.

Dhanush's ardent fans who have been waiting for the film release were disappointed just like the actor. They have been appealing to the producer by tweeting about the film with the hashtag #WewantJTinthetres ion twitter. In addition, they have stuck posters of Jagame Thandhiram all over the state requesting producer Sashikanth to release the film in theatres. Jagame Thandhiram is tipped to be agangster flick starring Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo and several others. The film has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
