Dev Mohan Recounts A Humorous Incident From His First Meet With Samantha Ruth Prabhu While Working On Shaakuntalam Sets

With Dev Mohan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is getting ready for the big premiere of her mythological movie Shaakuntalam. The stars are actively promoting the movie in several states before its big release. Dev Mohan described his humorous first encounter with Samantha at the film's test shot during the Chennai promotional events.

Samantha and Dev Mohan were first introduced during the Shaakuntalam test run, the actor revealed. "When I first met her, Sam entered, she was wearing smart casuals. And I was on a horse with all the costumes. And we were being introduced and I was like in the 17th century and she was in the 21st century. I was like oh my god and how is this possible? Then she also changed her costume", he recalled. The actress grinned sitting next to him. In preparation for its debut next week, the second trailer for the movie was released yesterday. The second trailer appears quite intriguing. It includes all the necessary components, including romance, drama, battle scenes, and graphics. It depicts the sweeping love story between Dev Mohan as Dushyant and Samantha as Shaakuntala. The fantasy love story is set in Kashyapa Kanumalu (Kashmir), the opulence and splendor of Dushyant's Puru Dynasty. It is directed by Gunasekhar. The epic love between Shakuntala and King Dushyant from the Mahabharata is the central theme of the mythical drama. Prince Bharata will be played by Arha, daughter of Allu Arjun. She will be making her acting debut in the movie. In association with Gunaa Teamworks, Shaakuntalam is being presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. It is produced by Neelima Guna. Additionally, a 3D version will be made available. The movie will debut in theatres on April 14.
