Delnaaz Irani Recalls Favourite memories With Satish Kaushik

Delnaaz Irani remembers Satish Kaushik, the late actor-filmmaker, as not only an artist from the industry, but a close friend with whom she shared many fond memories. On the occasion of Kaushik's 67th birthday, Irani talks about their bond and his family.

Irani and Kaushik's families were close and used to live on Yaari Road in Mumbai. They often went for long walks together and celebrated each other's milestones. Irani recalls that Kaushik affectionately referred to her as 'humaari Delu.' Due to Irani's shift to a new house, she could not see Kaushik and his family as often. She regrets not having spent more time with them, especially after visiting Kaushik's home for his funeral. Irani has promised herself to take time out for her loved ones, given the unpredictability of life. “In our super-busy schedules, we forget to connect with people who really matter. I think, after this incident, I have promised myself to make time for people I care about. Life has its own way of teaching you that it’s unpredictable. I will also make sure that I visit Satish ji’s family (wife and daughter) as he would love that we are around them,” she says. Irani and Kaushik collaborated on the movie Milenge Milenge, and the latter was all praise for Irani's work. He invited her to his office to discuss the details of the movie. Irani remembers Kaushik as a lovely man who made the atmosphere cheerful, making work feel effortless.
