Luckily for fans, reports doing the rounds say that director Imtiaz Ali is considering Deepika Padukone and Kartik Aaryan for a film together. Seems like the director grabbed the opportunity. According to a report on a news portal, Deepika and Kartik are keen to play Radha and Lord Krisha in Imtiaz’s next.
In 2018, Imtiaz Ali announced that he is set to begin shooting for a film that will portray the love story of Radha and Lord Krishna. Imtiaz will write, direct and co-produce the film. Speaking to ETimes, the filmmaker had stated, “I have always been fascinated by the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna. In all of the Indian folklore, I know of no other story, which is so intensely personal and yet has such an epic scale. It has been my dream to step into the world of Radha-Krishna.”
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kartik is busy promoting his upcoming movie Love Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan. Deepika, after the release of Chhapaak, will feature in ‘83 alongside Ranveer Singh. She will also star in the Hindi Remake of The Intern.
