COVID-19 pushes filmmakers to put a hold on writing and shooting lip-lock scenes, love-making scenes and intimacy between actors

Most of the films are of romantic comedy or action-comedy films and usually such films obtain more chances of getting made as the trend to get a good trade and easy run at the theatres. In the last 5 years, the tone of rom-coms has changed drastically. Right from hugging & holding hands they drastically changed to lip-locks & french kisses. This is quite a change in the South industry and Hindi cinema was doing this for a decade. Now, it has reached a point where the liplocks are mandatory and it seems like most of the contemporary actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Raj Tarun all have it in their films. Now, with the pandemic in effect, the course of this seems problematic. Certain regulation is in commotion, which is to be followed strictly for filming and for sure touching one another is not one of them.

Thinking of this, the Taiwanese cinema has already passed a regulation station no intimate scenes shall be made until the extinction of the virus. The UK also implemented this, not only to the silver screen but also for the television. Now, this has surfaced in the Indian industry as the government is planning to resume the film trade and re-open the cinemas.

While this regulation might go well only with few, it has become an issue for web series makers. Most of the content is more of adult based and dependent on intimate scenes. It's for them to come up with a creative solution for this.
