Amidst the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to follow curfew on this Sunday. On Thursday, Modi addressed the nation and asked all the citizens to stay indoors on Sunday from 7 am to 9 pm. He requested everyone to follow this Janata curfew. Many celebrities have extended their support to Modi's calls. Film stars like Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan have lent their support to this initiative. Now, Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu has also asked people to follow the instructions of Narendra Modi.
"I urge all citizens to support the clarion call of our honorable PM @narendramodi and take part in the #JanataCurfew. This Sunday, stand on your balconies at 5 PM and give a resounding ovation to the brave hearts working tirelessly for the health of our society. #IndiaFightsCorona" wrote Mahesh in a recent Instagram post. Not only Mahesh, but even Pawan Kalyan has lent his support to this initiative started by Modi.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus cases in India crossed over 200 earlier today. The central and the state governments are taking the utmost care in saving their citizens from this disease. They are also requesting people to stay safe by home quarantining themselves and by maintaining social distancing.
On the career front, Mahesh Babu recently scored a super hit with his last film Sarileru Neekevvaru. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, this film featured Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine. Mahesh is yet to announce his next project. It got speculated that he will do a film with Vamshi Paidipally. But apparently, that project got called off. We hear that the Murari actor is planning to work with director Parasuram. An official confirmation about their project will be out soon.
