Poonam Pandey needs no introduction to the Indian film audiences. She grabbed the media attention first in 2011 when she offered to go nude if India wins the World Cup. Since then, Poonam made it to the headlines for such controversial stories. She has also acted in a couple of Bollywood movies in the past few years. The latest we hear about her is that Poonam Pandey got arrested by Mumbai Police last night for the violation of the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown.
According to the reports, Poonam Panday was roaming around with her companion without any reason. Thus, cops have taken them into custody and filed a case in Marine Drive Police Station. The cases got registered under sections 188 (Disobedience of order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (Negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and 51(B) of the Indian Penal Code. The cops have also seized a BMW car. The person who is with Poonam got identified as Sam Ahmad Bombay (46). Currently, the cops are questioning Poonam.
A few months back, Poonam Panday made it to the news by filing a complaint in Bombay High Court, against Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kunda and his associates. She stated that they have allegedly used her content even after her contract got terminated. However, Raj and his associates completely denied claims as false allegations.
On the film front, Poonam made her debut with the movie Nasha. She later acted in a film called Aa Gaya Hero. She was last seen in the 2019 release The Journey of Karma.
