We are already aware that National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh is playing an important role in Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film Annaatthe. Ever since this announcement, people wondered what role is Keerthy essaying in this movie, as she is much younger than Rajini. The sources close to the movie's team confirmed that Keerthy is playing the role of Rajini's younger sister in the film.
As the title suggests, Annaatthe is the story of the relationship between a brother and a sister. While Rajini is the elder brother, Keerthy is playing the role of his sister. Thus, they are the central characters of this film. Currently, the shooting is happening at the Ramoji Film City of Hyderabad.
Nayanthara is playing the female lead in this movie. She had also played as the female lead in Rajini's last film Darbar. Senior heroines Kushboo Sunder and Meena are essaying important characters in the film. Annnaatthe is being directed by Siva of Vishwasam and Vedhalam fame. It is being produced by Sun Pictures. D. Imman is composing the music for this film. The makers are planning to release the film during Diwali next year.
On the flip side, Keerthy is also acting in other films like Miss India, Rang De, and Good Luck Sakhi.
