Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh took to their social media to share a few still from their upcoming film Sardar ka Grandson. The film is now slated to have an OTT release on Netflix soon. Sources say that it will have a summer release.
Both Arjun Kapoor and Rakul wrote, " Gather your parents and grandparents for this one, Sardar ka Grandson is coming soon to @netflix_in #SardarKaGrandson," as they shared the photos.
There haven't been that many films that explore the bond grandparents share with their grandkids. In Sardar ka Grandson, Neena Gupta and Arjun Kapoor explore this dynamic. The stills are colourful and hint at a wholesome entertainer.
The stills introduce the main characters of the film. Arjun Kapoor is in the driver's seat of what looks like a truck. He has a stern look on his face. Rakul Preet Singh's still as lively and bubbly. Looks like the actress will essay an eccentric character. One of the stills showcases the bond between Neena Gupta and Arjun Kapoor's characters. Gupta is sitting in a wheelchair and Arjun is by her side. The relationship seems wholesome. Another still showcases the dynamic between Arjun and his love interest played by Rakul. Rakul is sitting on Arjun's lap and they seem to be in the middle of a funny conversation. The chemistry between the two is promising.
On the work front, Rakul Preet is looking forward to the release of two of her Tamil films Ayalaan and Indian 2. Her Bollywood film Attack is all set to hit the theatres on August 13th. Rakul's other upcoming release is MayDay starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. Arjun Kapoor's dark comedy Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar will release on March 19th. His other film Bhoot Police is now scheduled to release on September 10th 2021.
