Cole Sprouse recently commented on Bernie Sanders’ political policies.
He shared his views on what Sanders is promoting. According to Sprouse, Bernie’s views are not radical. Sprouse said that Bernie is only proposing to fix the systems because they got broken.
Sprouse mentioned some of his ideas on what radicalism means. He suggested how his ideas and the policies mentioned by Sanders are similar. He tweeted, “Raising the least wage is not radical. Pursuing health care for all is not radical. Pursuing higher education for all is not radical. Seeking legislation that protects our earth, our home, is not radical. The pursuit of equity is American.”
Sprouse always expresses his political views. He has often spoken against Sanders’ opponent, Donald Trump, many times.
One of his tweets against Trump read. “Your brand is not in jeopardy by public opposition to Trump. Your nation is in jeopardy without it.”
The Riverdale star also compared the show he works on and its scenario to the real-world politics.
In 2017, in an interview with HUNGER magazine, the star said. “Riverdale was an interesting piece because it came from a comic that was based on the Golden America narrative — the perfect [idea of] America that has been historically proven to be untrue, very complicated, and terrifying for anyone that isn't a white man.”
Sprouse is a supporter of policies like “Fight for working families”, “Medicare for all,” and more.
